  2. 02

    Gather evidence

We gather evidence to support your claim, including witness statements, medical records and information on your accident.

  3. 03

    Assess your injuries/losses

We assess your general damages for injury and special damages for financial losses such as loss of earnings and expenses.

  4. 04

    Arrange medical care and rehabilitation

We arrange an independent medical report, sometimes more than one for complex cases, and identify any rehabilitation needs.

  5. 05

    Negotiation

Rounds of negotiation between your solicitor and the defendant's solicitors aim to secure maximum compensation in the shortest time.

  6. 06

    Compensation payment

Once your claim settles, compensation is sent by cheque or bank transfer, usually within 21 days of settlement being agreed.

My husbands claim was dealt by Illyas, he was very helpful during the whole claim process.
I can honestly say I'd recommend if anybody came and asked me.
How much am I likely to get awarded?

This is measured on a number of factors and is difficult to estimate until an expert solicitor has assessed your claim. Each claim is dealt with individually and on its own merits.

How long will the claim take?

It is difficult to give a clear estimate as every case depends on different circumstances. A dedicated personal file handler manages your case through to completion.

What do I do next?

Contact us by telephone or complete our online enquiry form for an immediate assessment of your claim.

How long do I have to make a claim for compensation?

You have three years from the date of the accident to claim. If you were under eighteen, you have until three years after your eighteenth birthday.

Do I have to go to court?

Even if you believe you are partly to blame, you may still be entitled to claim if the other party was at least partially responsible.

What to do if you are involved in a road traffic accident?

Share information with the other party including phone number, name, insurance details, address and registration; take photos of the accident; note the other car's model, colour, year and damage; take witness details; note the car owner's details; avoid discussing fault; report the accident to the police; and inform your insurance company as soon as possible.

What are the types of injuries as a result of a Road Traffic Accident?

Back/spinal injuries, paralysis, neck injuries, shoulder injuries, burns and scarring, minor cuts and bruising, face, head and brain injuries, dental injuries, internal organ injuries, digestive system injuries, leg and knee injuries, pelvis and hip injuries, sensory injuries, and stress and psychological injury.
